At Southside, we work hard to steward our limited resources. Many of our staff make little to no income or volunteer their time to ensure church business is conducted from week-to-week. We strive to maximize the impact of the gifts that are given so that we can continue the Lord’s work. We also work hard to maintain our facilities so that we are able serve our congregation and community. However, we have a major need that requires lots of prayer and a God-sized answer.

In recent years, we have upgraded the roofs of our gymnasium, lower building (which includes classrooms, a nursery, and our fellowship hall), and the perimeter of our upper building (which includes classrooms and offices). Now we are tasked with addressing the shingled roof over our sanctuary and foyer. Southside has received estimates of $90,000-$120,000 to not only repair the roof, but also make structural changes to prevent future problems. 

Even with these challenges, we still press on. We are a congregation who has seen God work on our behalf and want to continue being obedient in serving the community. And because of this, we write asking for assistance in support of raising funds to replace the roof of our sanctuary building.

Every gift given helps us get closer to the goal of maintaining our facility, allowing us to continue the work that God has called us to do – spreading the Gospel of Christ.
